I'm It

Tag. I'm It. Canape tagged me and now I have to tell you five (slightly odd) facts about me.

1. I have an irrational love of cake. In fact, I ate cake for breakfast this morning. My husband helps feed my addiction.

2. I am waaaay overdue for my monthly Brazilian. Like, grossly overdue.

3. I have more online friends than real life friends.

4. I fear that when I get pregnant again I won't be able to enjoy any of my pregnancy because I'll be too scared.

5. Every time I fly I'm convinced I'm going to die. I bargain with God to let me live to (fill in the blank). For instance, when I met Chris in Arizona last year I kept asking God to let me survive long enough to see him again. And then on the ride home I wanted to survive long enough to get married. And so forth.

I don't know too many bloggers so I'll tap the ones I can and everyone else can do their Five Facts in my Comments section. Andria, Erika, and Stephanie...you've been tagged. I'd tag Fertile Mertile but Canape already got her!

I do still have Grover but I don't fly with him anymore. What a great memory you have!

I mean, he did live with me for a time.

Five Slightly Odd Facts about Me?

1. I have a very vivid memory of my childhood (and the rest of my life) and it drives everyone crazy - especially Jason. I remember what I wore on the 1st day of school all 12 years. I remember very odd things.

2. My fingers are very flexible and I can move them in ways most people can't. Some call it double jointed, but I don't know if that is an accurate term.

3. I have recurring dreams about the pool I lifeguarded at in high school and college. It was recently torn down (dug up?) and made into a housing development and I keep dreaming I'm there on the last day - although I stopped working there long before it shut down.

4. When I'm going to sleep, I often rub my feet back and forth on the sheets. I don't even realize I'm doing it half the time.

5. I sometimes wonder if I have shades of OCD. I recently noticed that sometimes I pat things twice. Like when I've changed Bryce's diaper or put a towel on my head after a shower. Or maybe b/c it's unconscious it's not OCD? I don't know. Pat pat.

BTW, my husband has an irrational love of cake as well. He ate cake for breakfast ALL the time growing up and I thought it was so odd. His mom was forever making cakes for him.

I love that you love cake. The best thing you ever taught me was to mix cake and ice cream in my Smurfs glass.

Ditto #4.

And I thought Grover had something to do with #2 at first. Glad that got straightened out.

1. I order pickles on sandwiches and hamburgers. I never eat them though- I promptly take them off and throw them away.

2. I like to iron. I iron my sheets, pillow cases, and handtowels. (The handtowels because they have a decorative edge, it really can be justified ;))

3. I have to sleep on the side of the bed, away from the door. Life is a complete biatch when there are doors on either side of the bed.

4. I hate frogs. I had decided to decorate my nursery in a Brandee Danielle froggy theme with the first baby I lost. I then ebayed all the items, just to get them out of my house. I hate frogs.

5. I love candles. Love, love, love them. I have a candle cabinet in my house, and I regularly stock it.

Amy- I have the same fear as you. After having three miscarriages, I am afraid to get pregnant, and will be nervous the whole time. Most women are uneasy until the 12 week mark, but I will be on pins and needles until I get to 23 weeks- the point at which a baby is viable.

Erika- I do the same exact thing with my feet!

When the cake runs out, it's a good thing there are brownies in the house. The only downside to the Brownies last night, was that there wasn't enough milk to enjoy with them. Oh Well...but we will have to see what happens when the brownies run out (which they already did), cause they were delicious and it was a small pan of them...Yeah we are dessert pigs!!! We do have two more cake mixes and frostings in the cabinets to deal with, but who knows what the night will bring???
