A mouse!!

There's a mouse in our house!

For two nights, I've heard something in our vent that sort of sounded like a squirrel dropping acorns or something. Then, this morning after nursing Carter, I was laying in bed and heard something in the bathroom. A few minutes later, I heard paper rustling in our bedroom. I shot up, which woke Chris up, and he asked what was wrong. I told him what I heard, and next thing we know, there's a mouse running across our dresser! Oh. My. God.

Can you imagine if I'd run into him while going to get Carter?? I don't turn on any lights to do that.

I am so grossed out. Blech. I keep getting the heeby jeebies.

(Chris just went into the bathroom and found droppings in our tub. I KNEW I heard him in there!)

Eeek! We totally had a mouse at our old place. We came home from vaca and found droppings on the kitchen counter! EWWWWW!

We tried humane stuff and sadly it didn't work. We had to go the old school route. I made Rick take care of that.

We had a mouse once, but I don't think he meant to come in. He was laying half-dead in our basement I caught him and let him go in the woods behind our house.

We get them from time to time. It's always a little violating to find the droppings...

Been there, especially with me living in the country. Get some of those poison pellets that are in little paper pouches, and you won't see them again. We did traps and all, and still had problems.

All I gotta say is if it comes out to say hi while Mom-Mom is babysitting you may walk in your place to find her standing on top of your table holding Carter.

I was thinking the same thing about Mom-Mom.

I'm back from vacation and just read Sarah and Bird's comments....totally agree with you both! I remember my big toe touched a dead mouse under something in the laundry room when you were a baby and I practically used scalding water over my toe to help disinfect it. First I screamed, gathered all 3 of you kids on top of my bed and made a phone call for someone to pick you kids up. Took me hours to recover.
