I got the blues

Got the baby blues. It sucks. Poor Chris has to watch me cry at least once an hour. It's awful. Really, really awful.

And, don't worry, we're keeping a close eye on me to make sure it doesn't turn into something worse.

I can always count on Chris to make me laugh, though. Yesterday he was putting my breast pump together and tested the manual one on himself. I haven't laughed that hard in forever. Then, just now he called my nursing tank my "boobie g-string" because of how it holds my boobs. That man cracks me up.

I'm glad you guys are being smart about it - but it's not like I wouldn't expect that!

Hope they pass quickly.

I love it... I'm laughing, myself, just thinking about that pump attached to him!!! Hang in there sister, you just need time to adjust to it all.

I'm sorry you're blue. It does get better. Promise. I'm wearing my boobie g-string right now, thank you very much! I have one in black, and I always say it looks like some twisted S&M shirt.

Oh Amy, I'm SO sorry to hear that... I had PPD terribly after my triplets were born. I thought I was just going to melt into the ground. I wanted to just sleep and sleep. I went and spoke with my OB and thankfully she was so helpful and understanding... It's good that Chris is there with you and is so supportive (and funny!!) Good luck!! Please don't hesitate to contact me if you need anything, I'm not too far away! :) Be well, & Happy thanksgiving!!

Hopefully just the blues and you'll get over it soon. Isn't it the weirdest thing?

Thinking of you on this most thankful of Thanksgivings!

All I can say is chocolate. Lots of chocolate. ;)

The first few weeks are difficult and with it being cold outside my personal solution of taking walks outside won't help you very much.

Give me a call if you ever need to take a step back for a few minutes.

I'm sorry the blues are visiting you. I'm glad to hear you're aware...that's the first step.
You will be ok and get through it, especially with what sounds like a great husband!

Good luck! Thinking of you

I so sorry you're being hit with the Postpartum cha cha. I remember those days very unfondly.

It's good that you are self aware enough to realize what is happening and that you have in Chris a man without two left feet ;)

Hang in there...this will pass!
