Carter has taken 7 steps so far today. 3 at a time twice, and then 4 steps the third time. I was so shocked the first time it happened that I just stood there, mouth dropped open, and stared at him. It was so cute seeing him taking his first tentative steps. I'm sorry Chris missed it...he was getting some library books in preparation for his surgery on Tuesday.
Yes, he's having back surgery AGAIN. They're doing a more exploratory surgery, as well as fixing a disc that's still really bothering him. He's been in quite a bit of pain the past few weeks. It's awful. So, we will most likely be spending our New Year's Eve in the hospital. Good times.

Beware! 'Fisrt steps become running SO fast! :) Is actually great, he has been walking for a few months and can entertain himself even better since there is much more to see from 'up there'.
