At about 16 months my nephew started saying "damnit." If he uses it in context, like says "shit" when he falls down or drops a toy, then you have to worry.
He is just preparing you for when he finds it difficult to say 't' sounds and they sound more like an 'f'. If Carter is anything like my boy, it will coincide with an obsession of trucks!

A few weeks ago, Ryan was pushing a toy. When it flipped over, she said 'oh, dammit'. Yea. At least she knows how to use it.
