Still the same. Closed up tight like Fort Knox. These annoying contractions are just that...annoying. They're not doing anything. I guess that's fine at this point. But it's frustrating to feel them ALL DAY LONG and not have them DO anything. Anyway. BP was good, no weight gain this week (woot!), baby's heartbeat was good. Got my GBS swab. No big deal.
Scheduled a sono for next week to check size, fluid, etc. They also want me to set an induction date for 39 weeks. I'm not entirely comfortable with that idea, but there are also things that make me say, "Okay, let's do it." But I'd be doing it for all the wrong reasons, and for reasons that I've judged other people for.
In other news...Chris is "going green." I'll let him explain. Hopefully he'll do a post today or tomorrow.

Glad to hear you're doing well! Be on the lookout for menstrual like cramps - those were the signs for me that I was starting to efface and dilate!
As for induction - as long as your cervix is progressing, it's usually not a problem. It's when it's still closed up tight where there is more potential for a c/s. GL! Can you believe that you very well could be holding your baby this time next month?
Just because they induce doesn't mean the baby will come. I was induced twice at 39 weeks and nothin. 2 full days of pitocin induced contractions only to be sent home each time. Finally she decided to come out on her own, 2 hours before her due date. (Just wanted to warn you it doesn't always work, as no one warned me and I was quite surprised!)
I'm all for leaving Mother Nature to do her thang...don't mess with what isn't broke. As long as there is no medical reason to induce why force what isn't readY?
Just my unrequested 2 cents.
everything sounds great on the up and up...a lil tip to get dilation going...have some whoopee!! trust me...it works!! :D
something about those acidic swimmers...tee hee...sorry to get all Rated X on your blog! hahaha!
I'm still waiting for Chris's green post...
