One year stats

Our little munchkin is still a little munchkin.

Weight 20lb 3oz (14th percentile)
Length 29" (26th percentile)
Head circumference 47cm (69th percentile)

His height went down from 52nd percentile to 26th, so I'm hoping next time we go to the doc, he'll have grown a little taller. The doctor said she wasn't concerned at this point, but of course I am. I can't help it.

Don't worry too much, at one year Parker was in the 50% for weight and was 21 lbs. And length he was in the 50% and 30". The difference isn't that staggering. I would also presume that if the stats can go above 100% they can go off the scale the other way too. . . negative height? Maybe not. Either way the scale is just demographic information (easy for me to say with a kid in the middle on both).

Feed that boy a sammich! Grilled cheese on whole wheat is good. Cut into little cubes.

He is almost the same size Babybunny was at 12 months. In fact, now at 16 months, she's still just 21 lbs and 29.5 inches, so I wouldn't worry too much just yet. He certainly is a handsome little guy! I can't believe he's a year old already!

Adam's height also dropped from his 9 month appt. (55th%ile) to his 12 month appt. (30th%ile) and his height has been in the 75%ile at the 4 & 6 month appts!!! His weight has always been between the 5 - 15%ile. The Dr. assured me not to worry and he was right. At Adam's 15 month appt, his height was back up to around the 40th%ile and it was at the 50th%ile at his 18 month check-up. I know it's hard not to be concerned -- believe me, I know! -- but I try to live with the philosophy of "If the Doctor isn't concerned, I won't be either". Hope this helps?!? Carter is absolutely adorable! Love the new pics! Hope to meet you both at a Mamistad event some day. I'm in M18! :)

We're still trucking along over here at 95%... I think all Mama's feel a little iffy about the extremes don't we?

He's perfect.
