Carter's doctor's appointment went well today. He's still uber-skinny but he's growing so that's okay. He's 14 lb 14 oz, which is in the 9th percentile. I bet if I'd have nursed him beforehand, he'd have made it to the 10th. :-)
He's 26 inches long (43rd percentile) and his head is in the 30th percentile at 43 cm.
His fever is unexplained. Doc said it may have been a virus, but it seems to be gone now so we went ahead with his vaccinations. My boy sure loves his rotavirus vaccination. He laps it up like candy! The shots were horrible and he screamed but he recovered quickly and is no worse for wear now.
In other news, my grandfather had surgery today to open a blockage in his carotid artery. Like a superstar, he made it through with flying colors. He's awesome.
