My computer is dead. I haven't been able to check in with my friends, or play enough Cafe World, or update this blog for a few days now. I have pictures from the Metro DC Cooking Show, where I ran into a few familiar faces. I have pictures from Carter's birthday.
I have stories to tell, like the day he didn't want to get out of the tub even though the water was gone and he was cold and shivering and he said to me, "Mommy, I'm mad!" I laughed and told him, "No, you're not." He said yes, that he's mad and then put his head down. I asked him why, and he looked at me for a minute, thinking about it, and then said, "towel." He was mad because he didn't want to get out of the tub and have me wrap him in a towel to get warm and dry. If that's the worst thing he gets mad at me for, I'm a happy gal.
He's used the "mad" thing a few more times and it makes me laugh inside every time. But I just tell him that it's okay to be mad and to let me know when he's happy again. It doesn't take long. Toddler feelings change more quickly than pregnant women!

I am cracking up because Tuck ALWAYS gets mad when the bath is over. He NEVER wants me to wrap him in a towel!
