Today, my little man turns one month old. One month! I can't believe it. The first two weeks were a complete haze of lack of sleep, baby blues, and sore nipples. I loved HIM but I didn't love every day. Now? I love every day. I love this child so much. He's so much fun. Right now he's laying on my chest as I type this, sleeping soundly after eating a meal that only I can provide. It's pretty amazing.
Here's his first monthly pic, compared to his monkey friend. Each month, I'll do a new one and see how he grows. I stole this idea from Girl, because she's creative like that.
And in other FABULOUS news....Chris is finally out of the Army!! Today was his last day of Individual Ready Reserve and he's now been released completely. To say I'm relieved is a huge understatement. I've been waiting for this day for 5 1/2 years.

Happy one month little man! :)
I can't believe he is a month old already!
Happy Birthday little dude!
Congrats to Chris on his discharge.
Wow...a month already? Seems like it was just yesterday!
He gets cuter every day~
The love you have for your child is something you feel so deeply in your heart that the feeling is so hard to describe. It is the most unbelievable feeling in the world...don't I know it! Happy One Month Birthday to The Turkey. Carter you are almost as long as your monkey. I love you with all my heart.
Chris, congrats on meeting your commitment with the military. I have been watching the days and am very happy your life is yours to live without interference from outside forces. Enjoy your family and every milestone Carter hits, because you will be here to see it.
Oh! Congrats on ending indentured servitude to the military. That was a good day for us too!
Very Cute. I remember those days of lack of sleep. I would not trade them fot the world.
Wow, I can't believe he's 1 month already! Cute pic idea!
Happy Monthday! err...Month-Birthday!
And Congrats on the discharge.
(Hmm...that sounds kind of odd.)
Great idea w/ the monkey. I like how his head is all stretched out. I think when he turns 16 he should be holding the monkey too. For old times sake.
It seems a little crazy to me that he'll be 16 one day. I don't want to think about it...
Congrats on the service ending. I know all too well how wonderful you must feel.
:) Jaime
