Snow

We're having our first snow of the season today. It's really pretty outside. When we left the house and stepped outside, Carter said, "Wow!" He's funny.

The commute was a little scary though. It's so different driving in this weather with a happy little boy in the backseat. But he made it to daycare safe and sound and I'm at work, so we're both warm and inside. And if I had to walk to get to him, I could. It would take me a little while, but it's possible. That's reassuring and one of the reasons we chose the daycare we did.

Anyway, I've been working on a blog post for several days now updating everyone on the past week or two, but I've been so slammed at work it's been hard to get it out. Stay with me, I'll be less busy next week. I promise.

Yay for snow! I wouldn't mind one snow day a year.

We got snow too. I love it. Parker kept turning around in his high chair to see the snow covered yard.

The best part of Mrs. Not Skippy being a teacher is if the snow is bad the call a snow day. I miss snow days. I so want to go home and play in the snow for the first time with my son.

Now I'm sad.
